National Fundraising Leader Armando Chardiet Joins Graham-Pelton
Former Atrium Health and Cleveland Clinic executive brings deep expertise in healthcare philanthropy, campaign leadership, and institutional advancement.
12 SEPTEMBER, 2026, NEW YORK, NY – Graham-Pelton today announced that Armando L. Chardiet has joined the firm as Senior Vice President, bringing more than three decades of philanthropy leadership at some of the nation’s foremost healthcare and academic institutions.
Chardiet most recently served as President of Atrium Health Foundation, part of one of the nation’s largest nonprofit academic health systems. During nearly nine years at Atrium Health, he helped strengthen a systemwide culture of philanthropy and led philanthropic efforts supporting research, education, access to care, and major capital investments. He also led Giving Hope, Atrium Health’s $500 million comprehensive campaign and the largest philanthropic campaign in the organization’s history.

Before joining Atrium Health, Chardiet served as Chair of the Philanthropy Institute at Cleveland Clinic. Earlier, he was Chief Advancement Officer and Assistant Vice Dean for the University of Pennsylvania Health System and University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and President of the Washington Hospital Center Foundation. His career also includes development roles with the American Red Cross, Brown University, and American University.
