For 130 years, Norton Healthcare has honored its deep commitment to providing quality care throughout Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and beyond to all who need it—from the most delicate premature infants to community elders, and everyone in between. Norton’s leadership understood that to build on the organization’s industry accolades and prepare for the future, they needed to make significant investments in patient care, facilities, education, and research. Norton Healthcare also benefits from a great deal of support within the greater Louisville community and a civic commitment to improving access to care. But like many nonprofits, Norton Healthcare remains sensitive to donor fatigue and competing campaigns.
Graham-Pelton stepped in to provide Campaign Preparation Services, including a Campaign Readiness Assessment and Planning Study, Case for Support Development and a Visioning Session, and Board Campaign Readiness Services. We took a critical look at the ability of Norton Healthcare and Norton Children’s Hospital to mount a comprehensive, seven-year campaign to focus on Clinical Care, Facilities, Education, Research, and Endowment, with specific emphasis on pediatrics, cancer, cardiovascular care, neurosciences, diabetes and endocrinology, orthopedics, and women’s care.
