Inspiring Humans, Not Donors™

A Virtual Workshop for independent schools

Wednesday, May 11
1-2:30 p.m. ET (10-11:30 a.m. PT)

Learn to craft messaging that moves people to action

Are you struggling to write a “donor-centric” case for support for your school? Do you find that you’re trying to make your campaign messaging speak to everyone, but it really appeals to no one? If so, you’re not alone. Writing for donors is not easy because all donors are different. Luckily, they all share one basic, irrefutable characteristic: they are human.

By crafting your case for support for humans – instead of for donors – you create clear, concise messaging that inspires action. The result? Transformational levels of giving for your school and your mission.

While there is no charge to attend the workshop, space is limited. Secure your spot today.

Workshop description

Specifically designed for independent schools, this hands-on virtual workshop will provide a dynamic and interactive experience to take your case for support to the next level – the human level.

First, we’ll show you how to tap into the decision-making mindset of your constituents and connect on an emotional level. We’ll share proven communication strategies that combine principles of psychology, marketing best practices, and change management to explain our simple, proprietary five-part framework that can be used to structure your case for support.

Next, you’ll work in small groups to begin applying these strategies and receive real-time feedback from peers and Graham-Pelton experts.

Last, we’ll share tips on how to design and facilitate an engaging process to write your school or campaign’s case for support.

What you’ll learn

  • How to think differently about your case for support
  • A simple five-part framework to structure effective messaging
  • How to achieve clarity and brevity in your messaging
  • Strategies to engage stakeholders and generate leadership buy-in

What other schools say about the workshop

CASE Logo

Coming from a school that does a lot of things the ‘traditional’ way and likes words, it was great to hear this fresh approach from Graham-Pelton. I took a lot away from the session that will be very handy in the office.
