Graham-Pelton provides strategic counsel to the University of London focused on high-level strategic advice on fundraising and engagement activity. This has included strategy development, principal gift cultivation strategies, leadership engagement, and aligning fundraising with engagement.
Graham-Pelton has also conducted multiple workshops for the fundraising team and other University leaders. Designed for all fundraisers with differing levels of experience, a Major Gifts workshop delivered on all of the key elements of successful Major Gift fundraising, including: developing individual messages and responses to frequently asked questions, securing meetings, planning and preparing for meetings, questioning and listening techniques, making the ask for financial and/or other forms of support, and building long-term cultivation and engagement plans. A Regular Giving Strategy workshop with University staff was designed to review, refine, and plan the regular giving programme strategy relevant to recent and forthcoming activities. Most recently, an interactive workshop for senior academics was designed to further engage them effectively in the fundraising programme.
