Services: Campaign Planning Study, Campaign Counsel
Graham-Pelton’s services to the Sea Education Association (SEA) began with a planning study to test SEA’s ability to conduct a comprehensive campaign as the organization transforms its vision for the future. Case elements tested included: Maintaining Ships and Marine Operations; Increasing Support and Resources for Students, Faculty, and Institution; and Improving Shore Facilities. Graham-Pelton continues to provide campaign counsel to SEA. Currently, in its Major Gifts (Quiet) Phase, the campaign has raised $14 million to date on a $20 million goal. The total goal includes $13 million for campaign projects (ships and capacity building, faculty endowment, scholarship endowment, and campus upgrades) and $7 million for the Annual Fund. Public Phase launch is currently scheduled for July 2020.
