Services: Campaign Planning Study, Board and Staff Training, Building Major Gift Portfolios, Building a Prospect Management/Moves Management System, Campaign Counsel
Graham-Pelton recently completed a Board Session, Staff Session, and Planning Study for the Nightingale-Bamford School. The study investigated Nightingale’s ability to raise funds for endowment and the annual fund through a five-year comprehensive campaign. The case for support included funding for six endowment areas: Curriculum and Programming Fund, Financial Assistance Fund, Faculty Excellence Fund, Endowed Division Heads and Head of School Positions, Building Maintenance Fund, and Unrestricted Fund. Graham-Pelton recommended that Nightingale proceed with a comprehensive campaign over a five-year period. The Board Session and Staff Session focused on issues to prepare the Board and school staff for their roles in the campaign, including trends in the philanthropic landscape, independent school campaigns, pre-campaign readiness, making the case for endowment, campaign planning study timeline and methodology, and how to respond to roadblocks and opportunities for a campaign. Graham-Pelton continued services to Nightingale focused on major gift readiness, including building Major Gift portfolios and building a prospect management / moves management system, and is currently providing organizational phase campaign counsel.
