Our work impacts the conservation of wildlife and sensitive lands on the Indian River Lagoon.

Goal: $8 million campaign
Result: More than $4 million raised in the Board solicitation phase alone
Services: Planning Study, Campaign Management

Graham-Pelton Consulting conducted a campaign planning study for the Indian River Land Trust (IRLT) to investigate IRLT’s ability to raise $8 million in a fundraising campaign for the acquisition of identified lagoon waterfront properties; public access improvements and ongoing stewardship for wildlife conservation and passive public recreation; and implementation of the Lagoon Greenway project.

Based on the study results, Graham-Pelton recommended that IRLT immediately embark on the silent phase of a campaign with an initial goal of $5 million to purchase environmentally sensitive lands on the Indian River Lagoon. Graham-Pelton continued services with IRLT to provide campaign management counsel. With more than $4 million raised in the Board solicitation phase, IRLT raised its silent phase goal to $8 million.
