Victoria Barthram

Graham-Pelton is delighted to announce that Victoria Barthram is to join the UK team as Senior Consultant from the beginning of May 2016.

Victoria Barthram has recently returned to the UK, having spent 6 months in South East Asia leading the University of Sheffield’s fundraising strategy in the region. In her role as International Alumni Development Manager at the University of Sheffield, Victoria had strategic oversight for engaging 50,000 alumni and friends in 180 countries. With 1 in 3 of the University’s alumni residing outside the UK, Victoria combined the development of her own prospect portfolio with work across the faculties and departments to ensure that opportunities for greater alumni engagement are pursued by all who travel on behalf of the University.

Managing Director Susie Hills says, “Victoria’s development and alumni relations skills and expertise, and her knowledge of the sector in SE Asia, are a valuable addition to the team. We are delighted to welcome her”.

Previously, Victoria played a key part in the rebuilding of Said Business School’s development office, within the University of Oxford. Here she led the launch of the Alumni Annual Fund, which was uniquely driven by a combination of e-solicitation, social media and volunteer outreach. She also had responsibility for managing the School’s scholarship funding strategy; drafting a new case for support and building a prospect pipeline to secure philanthropic support from individuals and corporate trusts.

Prior to joining the Business School in 2011, Victoria worked on a variety of short-term annual fund and leadership giving projects, supporting clients from independent schools and universities in the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Victoria says, “Joining Graham-Pelton is an exciting new step in my career and I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead.”
