Graham-Pelton Welcomes Christian Propper

Graham-Pelton’s growing UK team is delighted to announce a key new appointment. Beginning January 2016, Christian Propper joins Graham-Pelton as Senior Consultant.

Christian Propper brings to Graham-Pelton 17 years’ experience in fundraising for the higher education sector as well as independent schools. Before joining Graham-Pelton, he served at the University of Oxford as Technical Data Manager within their Development Office, which included dealing with a number of colleges to bring their data into the centralised CRM system, DARS. Previously, Christian was the Head of Development Services at the University of Reading where he provided oversight of Raiser’s Edge for the department. He was responsible for activity analysis, as well as managing the teams responsible for supporting Raiser’s Edge users, prospect research, and finance.

Christian says, ‘I have thoroughly enjoyed my work with Graham-Pelton as an Associate, and am very pleased to become further involved in the remarkable work that the firm is achieving. I am particularly keen to work with clients to ensure they’re getting the most out of their database systems, particularly in the post-Etherington report fundraising climate. Now, more than ever, your data needs to be used properly in order to reach the prospects with the most potential.’

Before joining Reading, Christian was the Operations and Data Analysis Director at Rux Burton Associates, where he liaised with a variety of educational clients in the UK, Europe, and Australasia to ascertain their annual fund needs, plan their telephone campaigns, and segment their data accordingly. Christian has also worked as Systems Manager for Radley College, Abingdon and Balliol College, University of Oxford.

Christian has a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Southampton, and an MSc in Information Technology from the University of Liverpool.
