Patricia Burgh House, a member of Graham-Pelton's senior management team and leader of the higher education practice group, provides counsel to clients in higher education and other nonprofit sectors. Pat's expertise includes feasibility and planning studies, campaign management, donor relations and stewardship, and board development.
Prior to joining Graham-Pelton Consulting, Pat was a senior member of the institutional advancement team at Elon University. Pat helped direct Leadership Elon, an annual workshop preparing selected board members, community leaders, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and students to be vested participants in the implementation of the university's strategic plan.
Prior to her tenure at Elon, Pat dedicated twenty-six years to higher education administration, including leadership positions in the Seton Hall University Enrollment Management and Institutional Advancement departments. As associate vice president for Enrollment Management, she directed all functions of the enrollment services unit, and was accountable for meeting annual enrollment targets and providing retention support. In her role as director of the Institutional Image Campaign,Pat was responsible for the execution of the university's integrated marketing plan, which provided strategic image enhancement to support the university's comprehensive campaign.
Pat holds a bachelor's degree in English from Boston College, a master's degree in educational administration from Fairfield University, a doctorate in higher education administration from Seton Hall University, and a certificate in nonprofit management from Duke University.
